For me, Psychiatry in clinical practice goes far beyond the technical and scientific skills of the psychiatrist. In our field in particular, the doctor–patient relationship plays a central role in treatment, and that is only possible when we are with someone who listens to us attentively, who is fully able to empathise and who sees us as a whole. I am certain that I am not "just the psychiatrist". It is my way of being in life, and work is no exception: to commit and dedicate myself fully to what I choose to do.
