Drª. Veena Balkrishna Fernandes

I am an Ayurvedic doctor, trained at Gujarat Ayurvedic University in India, where I studied for six years. I am considered the first Portuguese Ayurvedic doctor in Portugal and, since 2012, I have devoted myself to sharing this ancient medicine through consultations, courses, talks, workshops and training programmes. My work is based on an integrative and individualised approach, seeking to understand the person as a whole and not just their symptoms. Through the principles of Ayurveda, I help each person identify the causes of their imbalances and find practical, sustainable strategies to restore balance and promote well-being.
